Acrylic is what I started as a beginner in the world of colors. It is a simple medium, dries very fast, and is not so overwhelming.
Foundation is essential, and Acrylic medium helped me with the same as I continued to navigate and get better.
On a personal note, I love Oil paint as a medium. It allows me the flexibility to experiment and continue improvising. Because it is slow to dry, as an artist, I can continue working with the paints for much longer than the other types of paint.
It has helped me evolve as a person to be patient and pursue the craft of my skills as an artist.
![]() Serene-24"X36"-Oil on CanvasInspired by the breathtaking beauty of Chandratal Lake, nestled in the remote Lahaul and Spiti districts of Himachal Pradesh. I sought to capture that profound sense of calm in this work. In our fast paced world, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the constant rush. This painting serves as a gentle reminder to embrace serenity, no matter how chaotic life may become. | ![]() Eternal Offerings- 12"X18" -Oil on LinenThis painting is an ode to faith, an artistic expression of the eternal connection between humanity and the divine, inviting the viewer to experience the spiritual depth of this sacred tradition. Inspired by the Ganga Aarti at Varanasi, my painting seeks to capture the ritual’s dynamic energy, movement, and rich colors. | ![]() Rituals at Dusk-12"X18"-Oil on LinenRituals at Dusk, captures the ethereal transition—where light meets darkness, sound meets silence, and the earthly meets the divine. This piece seeks to convey not just the visual grandeur of the moment but also the spiritual depth and stillness that lingers long after the ritual fades into the night. |

![]() Sacred Reflection-30"X16.5"-Oil on Linen-Oil on LinenMy 30X16.5 oil painting, Sacred Reflection, captures the serene interplay of light, water, and devotion, inspired by the Ganga Aarti at Varanasi. As the brass lamps circle in rhythmic motion, their flames flicker, casting a golden glow upon the sacred river. This timeless ritual symbolizes a spiritual offering, a connection between the earthly and the divine. | ![]() Flow of Faith-18"X24"- Oil on LinenFlow of Faith, captures the sacred movement of prayers merging with the river, flames dancing with the wind, and hearts bowing in reverence. With each brushstroke, I seek to express not just a ritual, but a living flow of faith—endless, like the sacred river itself. | ![]() Lights of Devotion-18"X21"-Oil on LinenLights of Devotion, captures the sacred glow of flickering flames, rhythmic chants, and deep reverence that illuminate the Ganga Aarti at Varanasi. Each lamp, lifted in offering, symbolizes faith, surrender, and the eternal connection between the earthly and the divine. Through this painting, I seek to express not just a ritual, but the radiant spirit of devotion that continues to shine through time. |
![]() Shringhar- Oil on LinenShringhar, my Still-life study ,is an attempt to capture the essence of the dressing table, which has woven beauty rituals and created a harmonious blend of heritage and glamour. Beauty, for me, is the celebration of traditions passed down from one generation to another. | ![]() Lilies-8"X11" Oil on Panel | ![]() Calming-24"X24"-Oil on Linen |

I grew up in an Indian household surrounded by attractive utensils of different shapes and sizes. This painting reminds us of all the health benefits of cookware and spices. |
![]() Fruits-15.2"X12"-Oil on PanelI enjoyed the process of painting this still life set up during my academic pursuit. Before the fruits started to lose their freshness, I had to capture their essence, shape, and size. A small reminder: To stay healthy and fit, including fruits in our daily routine is essential. This most common fruit in all our households symbolizes prosperity and fertility. | ![]() AlleyForm: Oil 20" x 30" Not Available | ![]() The CatchForm: Oil Size: 24" x 36" Not Available |
